Xerox project

Here is my Xerox... I was going for the theme of See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil. I had never done a collage or Decoupage before but it was fun experimenting! I liked working with the wood frames but should probably have used more images to cover the empty space. I don't know if anyone else felt the same about creating their project, but it was a little creepy cutting my eyes out of the pictures.

  1. I really like the idea for this project and how you created each image in a different frame. It really allows us to consider each one individually and then put them together as a composition.

  5. I agree that it was weird cutting out pieces of myself when I was putting together the work...especially with an exacto knife that felt like a scalpel. I think your concept is so great with the see/hear/speak no evil. I really loved the way you incorporated other objects in them like the ruler, feet, and peace signs that tied everything in. Great job!

  6. This was fantastic. Although they at first appeared very different and almost random the monkey tied them all together so cute and humorously. This was awesome and I really enjoyed this.

  7. You had a great idea for your project and the fact that you used three different surfaces instead of cramming it all on one was a really great idea. My favorite one was the "hear no evil" piece, the way you glued the ears is cool and like the bordering feet too!

  8. it was cool that you did this in 3 parts, it probably made it a lot easier to work on, and i also liked the reference to the 3 evils

  9. I liked how your concept of "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" is complemented by your feet (running away from evil) and the monkey (which looks so dignified) to accompany the imagery (eyes, ears, lips) that supports the phrase so well. Great job.
