I wanted to combine technology with art in some way for my performance art piece. I also wanted to show the connection that society has been able to gain through technology in general such as social networks, cell phones and skype. My idea was to sit outside on campus and let people contribute to an interactive art piece that everyone could add to and connect with. The final product will be completed in class. Enjoy!

    I thought your video was completely different but great. I loved that your combined something like the paint application on a pc that is known and used widely and found random people to complete the project.

    Good job! This was a very creative idea, and I hope you had fun with it. In your spare time (haha) you should coordinate something like this to be done on a larger scale at UT. The possibilities are endless with what could be done with the final product.

    I really love the idea behind this piece. You took on involving your audience in a completely different way. I like the way everyone added a piece of themselves to make one composition. Really great idea!

    I think this was a very creative idea, and really set you out from the rest of the class. I love how you got people to participate in this and drew them in with the sign. I am really glad we got to see the finished piece in class, and I love that you described it as the "artwork from UT"

    i liked how you incorporated technology within your art piece. i thought it was cool how you interacted with random people walking by. i was surprised people even stopped! i thought your project was a smart idea!

    i liked how interactive your performance art piece was, because by explaining to people what you were doing they were also probably able to gain a better appreciation for the art. and the finished art piece was pretty cool too!

    I think this one was cool because you gave the control of the end result to the people who participated. I actually saw you doing this by the pool but unfortunately I couldn't stop to help. I really would have liked to have added to it, it was a really cool idea!

    The idea to have passers-by contribute to a collective art piece was a fantastic idea. Its like an effort to represent a community through art. The interactivity of your performance art piece was very clever and interesting. Great job!
